The purpose of The Vancouver Classic Guitar Society is to build a community among classical guitar enthusiasts, to educate and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of classical guitar music by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places, and by providing workshops relating to classical guitar music, to encourage study of the classical guitar, to enrich the culture of classical guitar in Vancouver, and to provide opportunities for guitarists of all levels to meet and play together.

The Victoria Classical Guitar Society aims to provide high quality public performances and increase the musical development and accessibility of the classical guitar.
